FYI, Current California Law Regarding Children Car Seats:

• Infants under 2 years of age shall ride in a rear-facing car seat unless the child weighs 40 or more pounds OR is 40 or more inches tall. The child shall be secured in a manner that complies with the height and weight limits specified by the car seat manufacturer. (California Vehicle Code Section 27360.)
• Children under the age of 8 must be secured in a car seat or booster seat in the back seat.
• A booster seat may secure kids who are eight years of age OR have reached 4'9" in height, but at a minimum, it must be secured by a safety belt. (California Vehicle Code Section 27363.)
• Passengers who are 16 years of age and over are subject to California's Mandatory Seat Belt law.

My family and I were at the San Diego zoo and needed a quick pickup. I picked up the phone and gave them a ring. I read they had car seats readily available. Which is a struggle to find when you have three little ones. They showed up immediately and brought us back to our hotel. The driver was dressed in a suit and was very professional. Highly recommend City Captain! We have 2 kids in car seats and 1 in a booster. When we landed at the San Diego airport, we called them to let them know we arrived earlier than expected. They were there in 5 minutes flat to pick us up. Car seats and booster were set up, kids music was playing, driver was very friendly with the kids, very professional, clean SUV, door to door service. It was excellent. We are using them again for our trip to the zoo this week and will go back to the airport with them on Tuesday!

Very family-friendly and kid-friendly taxi. We went from La Jolla Torrey pines Hilton hotel to downtown San Diego to visit museum and playgrounds with my kids (22 months and 5 years). If you every need a ride give these guys a call. It was my wife and I and our two small kids and we needed a last minute ride from our car rental drop off to our cruise ship. We were picked up in Encinitas, our driver confirmed our pickup time an hour in advance, was on time, and and transported us to the San Diego airport with no issue. I can't say enough good things about City Captain Transportation in San Diego! Looking for car service with child car seats from San Diego airport to Bahia Resort mission beach. City Captain showed up and had everything we needed and were great at communicating with us. City Captain is amazing! We traveled to San Diego/Carlsbad with our two children, who are 3 and 5. I didn't realize Uber Family (i.e., car seats or child seats) is only available in NYC. I looked up City Captain when we landed in San Diego and called them from the tarmac. It was last minute, but as soon as I had my bag, they were there to pick us up and load all of our gear too. with our car seat and stroller taking off with our flight, we had to leave the airport to take our son to the children's hospital via ambulance. We had no time to think about how we planned on getting transport back to the airport or anywhere else really. We were considering taking public transportation since Uber or Lyft does not have car seat options like they do in NYC. After a quick google search, we found city captain who answered before the first ring could finish. Our driver showed up as if he was already on his way to the hospital. The car seat and car was spacious and clean and he was able to get us to the airport as quickly as possible although we were in no hurry. I called for a last minute pick up (next day) and Matthew picked up right away and confirmed their availability. Because I was coordinating for client pick ups for the next three days, and waiting confirmation of their preferences; I ended up calling and coordinating more than I had anticipated and spoke with a couple different people. They were always friendly, helpful and never made me feel as though I was inconveniencing them, even though the reservations were sometimes less than 24 hours. Our clients (who are already Tesla owners) were VERY excited when the Model X picked them up and thought we had requested it for them. Even though I was in contact via phone with them, I still confirmed my reservations thought their website. Moving forward that is the system I will use and would recommend. Our situation warranted several phone calls but through no fault of their own. They can easily accommodate larger parties and children (provide car seats). Great service, great communication! Amazing service! I was traveling by myself with my daughter and I really didn't want to bring a stroller, luggage, AND car seat on our trip. Booked City Captain and they offer car seats with the car. The car seat was already installed when I was picked up and it was clean, stain-free and easy to use. (I needed a rear-facing one) The car itself was clean (a Tesla SUV) and quiet. The driver, Yosief (sp?), was very nice and helped me with all my luggage and stroller while I buckled the baby in. (Because when we got picked up, of course baby fell asleep!) He kept the conversation going without being too chatty and he took the most direct route to our destination. So, if you are needing a car service and traveling with a baby, I would highly recommend using City Captain! It made it so much easier to have to worry about one less thing (car seat) to carry. And the service was great.

2 different experiences. The airport pick up was great. Driver was there within 10 minutes of getting our luggage and was in communication before we even got off the plane... The pick up to get back to the airport was extremely stressful, I emailed and called the day before to confirm our morning pick up with child seat. I got a call back and email back confirming it, but then the morning of, the pick up time came and went with no call. I had to call and text the company. They scrambled to find us a driver who ended up picking my wife, kid and me, and was 30 minutes late picking us up. This meant for a stressful ride to the airport and not much of a buffer in case it was busy. The driver was nice but said he had no idea he was supposed to pick us up. I don't know what we would have done otherwise.... Yosief was a real nice guy, same with other driver, but somewhere there is a communication problem. I would use them again.

Car was an extra clean, driver wore mask and was awesome to ensure we were all prepared with our own masks.Highly recommend for families traveling into San Diego. I arrived an hour earlier than my scheduled time, the lady dispatcher and Josief were so accommodating to my arrival. Josief arrived to the airport as quickly as he could, on a super luxurious Tesla, with a toddler car seat properly installed. He drove I and my son home to Pala from San Diego airport, the ride was pleasant after a long day. Josief even added my sons favorite music, Beat Bo to his music library! Great service, friendly drivers, and super convenient if you are in need of transportation with car seats provided! They were so welcoming and made our time traveling around the San Diego area with an 18 month old a breeze. We didn't have to worry about hauling our car seat across the country, renting a car, and finding/paying for parking during vacation. What a wonderful company. This is a company that specializes in accommodating families. They have all of the necessary car seats that you would need. The vehicle was extremely clean and our driver was very professional and friendly. He even played Sesame Street songs for the kiddos on the way to the airport.Communication is via telephone or text message. You even get a link to see exactly where your driver is at and his eta. Highly recommend this company and when we come back to San Diego we will be using them again.
